Documentation and examples seem to only apply to deployment Not everyone understands Active Directory and SQL Server roles and permission This approach brings both together in one simple to maintain setup Once the setup is complete, simply add Active Directory users to the appropriate group and they receive permission to the assigned reports for that group Removing a user from an Active Directory group revokes their permission to the assigned reports for that group
