Dahl’s stories are modern-day fairy tales. His universe is one of magical happenings, peopled by
characters who are
obviously good
or obviously bad.

6. One of Roald’s greatest skills is his detailed descriptions of characters, usually of their physical attributes. Who is your favourite character? Can you remember what they look like?
