Crash Analysis Reports (Three Reports, 75 points each. Due on February 23, March 23 and April 20). Plus one bonus opportunity.
Must attach the news or web article with each report.
Article sources: Newspapers (Long Beach Press Telegram, Los Angeles Times, Daily Breeze & Orange County Register), internet reports (check local newspaper, TV and Radio stations sites, i.e. presstelegram.com; KTLA.com; myFOXla.com). Pay attention to TV and/or Radio collision reports (KNX 1070). See sample articles and summary links on class website. Bellflowerhigh.org
Current Traffic collisions (July 2016 and forward) from the following Southern California Counties: Los Angeles, Orange, San Fernando, Riverside, San Bernardino, Imperial, Ventura, Santa Barbara, Kern and San Diego. Preferred local crashes from Bellflower, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange County.
Must complete the heading information, summary and all 8 questions with a color diagram for each report.
Photo Project: 150 points. Due May 18th.
Must have a minimum of 10 traffic photos with accompanied questions. Take at least 30 photos for selection.
Poster board, pamphlet or Power Point Form.
