‘The dove could find no place to rest it’s feet because there was water over all the surface of the ground; so it returned to Noah in the ark. He reached out his hand and took the dove and brought it back to himself in the ark’. Genesis 8:9

The Dove Safe in the ark Why ever would she leave? Because Noah put her by the window – Temptation Because she had wings! Because of a homing instinct? The ‘old life’ is still attractive! No rest outside of the ark Noah received her back
