ONF Antitrust & Intellectual Policies and Specific Guidance
This is a reminder that all Open Networking Foundation activities are subject to strict compliance with the Open Networking Foundation's Antitrust Guidelines. Each individual participant and attendee at this meeting is responsible for knowing the contents of the Antitrust Guidelines, and for complying with the Antitrust Guidelines. TAPI 2.0 White Paper draft out as onf Posted on github as well - Minor comments so far – add list of contributors Note may need to update links due to changes in ONF sites Noted that there is a link to Snowmass github site With update can be posted as final hopefully by Friday FRD work in progress Initial outline on NodeRules discussed References CIM and provides examples Other sections still tbd As before, please contact Lyndon if interested in helping on this

Still updating mainly OAM and resilience sections and Spec models for ODU and OTSi ITU-T still working on OTSi model RC2 expected early next week WT (Nader) Working on PoC 4.1 Potential work with ONAP Looking for value beyond PoC 4.0 – use cases or equipment model Ethernet modeling Working on PHY, OT IM working on OAM? Still concern about overlaps

ONF Update Charter finalized with Timon’s comments
OTWG OTCC – Open Transport Configuration and Control New site: Lists Technical Steering Team and charter Project leads remain the same: Karthik, Kam, Giorgio Victor Lopez, Weiqiang Cheng now added as carrier representatives Need to add WT links Input from Timon that coordination with ONOS is important Some overlap with the vPOTS project (packet-optical transport) vPOTS mainly focuses on disaggregated ROADM but also touches on NBI New procedures in progress Changes to webex, mailing list, document repository clearer (see next slide) Webex times still the same

Procedural Changes Webexes to transition to Uberconference: Transition planned in September – watch for invitations Meetings will also become open, recording still supported For viewing, one can use any browser; For sharing, must use Google Chrome Up to 100 participants, International access (>50 countries, however no number for China, closest is Hong Kong) ONF will have at least two paid licenses to allow for overlapping meetings Mailing list to transition to New lists will be announced to allow current users to unsubscribe or opt out if they don’t want to be on the new lists. Otherwise you will be auto-subscribed to the new lists. opentransport, transport-api, wireless-transport will each have new lists. already in operation. The server will be hosted by Google Groups, but otherwise no changes to send or receive Cassandra will administer the lists

ONF Wiki Dashboard: One wiki page/space per project Will have public and private areas All the ARO documents of the IMP, OTWG, Arch WG, and Liaison statements to be archived in the ONF Wiki private repository ONF members can see the private link and login to access the archived documents Document submission via ONF JIRA (?): Issues-based Github: ONF OSSDN github EAGLE, Snowmass, & Centennial will be maintained but renamed as Open Networking Foundation Github

Questions/Comments Note WT has been using Mantis system – can they continue with this or need to migrate to JIRA? Lyndon to bring this up with ONF secretariat WT has recently started with Mantis, might be good time to transition if needed

November Interim Meeting
The registration for the CORD Build event is now open. Registration at: Registration is FREE if your organization is an ONF member. “Open Transport Project” + “Open IM & Tooling Project” Meeting will be co-located with the CORD Build event at the QCT facility on Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday, and at the ONF Lab on Monday & Friday. Note – registration and poll for M/F meeting needed Note also plan for ITU-T meetings – see Kam’s notes

November (6-10) Workplan CORD Build Event: November 7 – 9 (Tuesday – Thursday) Venue Google Facility: Quanta Cloud Technology (QCT), 1010 Rincon Circle, San Jose, CA 95131 Schedule: Work plan: There will be a specific track for the Open Transport (OT) and Open Information Modeling/Tooling (OIMT) projects Wednesday morning: We have a presentation; this will be on the CORD Build agenda Wednesday afternoon: We have a track for TAPI and Core IM; this will be on the CORD Build agenda Tuesday and Thursday we have a large room for us to work; this will NOT be on the CORD Build agenda Science fair stand for demo, 2 hours per day at lunch time on Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday Venue and host for Monday and Friday: ONF Lab 1000 El Camino Real #100, Menlo Park, CA 94025 The Glass conference room has been reserved, which can hold people comfortably Monday 9:30 – 18:00; Friday 8:00 – 18:00 Expect less than 20 Invitation letter template for visa application: onf
