18. Absences Due to Emergencies
Students must schedule make up with teacher after exam period, AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
NO EXAMS CAN BE GIVEN PRIOR TO EXAM DATE.

19. Final Grades
In order to pass a class, a student must earn at least .75 points for the year. To calculate this figure, you add all of the quarters up, using the county assigned numbers below, multiply that number by 2, add the two exam grades, and then divide by 10.

Total = 20/10 = 2.0
The student must pass at least one quarter in the first semester and one in the second semester OR the student must pass both of the last two quarters of the year. In other words, failing both the third and fourth quarters automatically is failing the course, and it follows that failing three quarters is an automatic failure.
Promotions
To be promoted to grade 10, students must have five credits including one English
To be promoted to grade 11, students must have ten credits including two English
To be promoted to grade 12, students must have fourteen credits including two English
