When was the Sabbath given? EXODUS Who was it for? Therefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant. Exodus 31:16 This law was ONLY for the Israelites And what great nation is there that has such statutes and righteous judgments as are in all this law which I set before you this day?" (Deuteronomy 4:8).

What does the Sabbath mean in Christ - There is no Sabbath command in Christ - The Law of Christ is founded in two concepts: “You shall love the Lord your God…. You shall love your neighbor as yourself” Mark 12:30-31 Ro 13:9 For this, "YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY, YOU SHALL NOT MURDER, YOU SHALL NOT STEAL, YOU SHALL NOT COVET," and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this saying, "YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF."
