2. Adult Skills & Family Learning Service
Our vision is that learning is recognised by our residents as an essential part of creating a better future for themselves and for the Lincolnshire community. The County Council raises achievements and aspirations by providing high quality learning opportunities in a safe environment that enable learners to progress according to their ability, needs and interests.
The Adult Learning Programme is funded by the Education and Skills Funding Agency and is subject to external audit and Ofsted Inspection
We commission 20 Learning Providers to deliver tailored, niche programmes of Adult Skills provision across Lincolnshire, in areas of market failure, adding value to other skills provision to help people develop confidence and improve their job prospects and life chances, evidenced through Case Studies.

3. Adult Skills & Family Learning Service
Our many and varied courses include GCSE maths and English, CV writing, Mental Health Awareness, Sign Language, Digital Employability Skills and Start Your Own Business
We deliver a bespoke Family Learning programme in schools and Children’s Centres that engages with parents and carers with low skills to improve outcomes for families
The service works with around 8,500 learners, and delivers in excess of 1,000 qualifications, each year
The team co-ordinates the County Council’s Apprenticeship Levy programme
