5 Redesign Partners & Roles: Participation Critical to Success
Multifaceted process Please respond in a timely fashion to any s with Web Redesign ACTION REQUIRED in subject line could reference, we: Are building your site Need help to complete your site because we need images or copy Request an intake call Cannot build your site or we need clarity about how you envisioned an element you selected working Need you to review your site Are still waiting for your final approval If we cannot get a response, we will launch as is provided all content has been mapped Critical dates Now – Oct. 30 A plea to you, as our partners, to please be ready to participate. Will give you as much time as possible, but we are looking for quick turnarounds and minimal reiterations.

6 Redesign Partners & Roles: Anticipated Rebuild Process
Kick off Introduces home page builder so you see a familiar name in inbox, start date Eventually will project potential review date (estimating early next week) Non-traditional color selections will be ready in mid-October, potential to review prior to color assignment May request an initial set up call to help map elements Review or initial review From your home page builder Andrew Yadon Evan Ross Lilia Lipps Megan Wilburn Doug Flower will Request missing content Call for review Review, sign off or send edits Online form or in-person review sessions A RSVP url will be provided at that time site is ready Here’s how we anticipate it will work ---- Three main parts – starting w/ kick off

7 Redesign Partners & Roles: Pre-work?
Time permitting, review your template selection confirmation Search on “Form Submission: 2016 Website Redesign Template Selection” Begin pulling together any content that you will need if you selected an element that is not currently in use on your site or for which other content on your home page cannot be used to fulfill the new element need Example: Add on: be aware, process includes FlashLine reference updates, if necessary, due to revamped portal Forms transition to Qualtrics vs. Google to meet accessibility needs Required action item placement for academic sites with graduate programs You might wonder what you can be doing now. For starters, consider how content freeze might impact your work. Call if you have questions or concerns. Then consider visiting your original selection. Gather necessary content or consider how you might provide direction ahead of the game. Example – some things clearly map (hero image), some require interpretation (calls to action) Flashline – example – copy on a page may still say – see My HR tab (no longer exists, will update as necessarY)
