Don’t realize that they are doing something bad don’t know the truth were lied to, don’t understand their behavior, other people are doing it too so its normal, people choose to forget that it is bad, force themselves to believe the wrong thing, EDUCATION!

“Ordinary Germans were encouraged by anti-semitism that led them to believe Jews should die.” Germans had the same beliefs as Hitler!
It was anti-Semitic ideas about Jews that were popular in Germany and had been for decades before!  think killing Jews is okay, ideas grew over time!
Perpetrators consulted own beliefs on morality and judged the annihilation of Jews to be right
