2 The aborigines women, children and men are victims of neglect,murders, sexual abuses … Today, the Aboriginal people total , out of a population of 18 milion.Two thirds live in towns ans cities. A majority of them are at the bottom of the social ladder. They often live in miserable conditions, without basic services like electricity and running water and also suffer from endemic alcoholism 2

Cancer Diabetes Respiratory and digestive disease Metabolic and nutritional disorders All these diseases are caused by the economy and the social factor 3

The life expectancy of an aborigine : In  : 69,1 years for an indigenous males (10,6 years lower than for a non-indigenous males : 79,7) 73,7 years for an indigenous females ( 9,5 years lower than for a non-indigenous females : 83,1 years) 5
