3 1. God’s Calling for Jeremiah (Jeremiah 1:4-10).

5 B. God is bigger than the obstacles included in the mission He has for you.

6 C. God is with you on the journey of completing the mission.

7 2. Evidences of Israel / America moving away from God.

8 A. Israel abandoned God and worshipped gods (Jeremiah 2:13).

9 B. Israel did not seek God (Jeremiah 5:1-2).

10 C. Israel cheated on God (Jeremiah 9:2).

11 D. Israel’s culture became relative (Jeremiah 23:36).

12 Will I run towards God (and bring others with me) in the midst of a culture that is running away from Him?

14 The Calling Matthew 5: “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot…

15 The Calling (Cont.) 14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.

16 The Calling (Cont.) 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
