1 Paying it forward: Project
Keeping you inert for the next 3 weeks

2 Contextualization You have just spent that last several months (less for some of you) tirelessly preparing for the rigors of the World History Advanced Placement Test. I have seen you for early afternoon reviews, weekend reviews, on-line reviews, guerilla WHAP, games (sites of the day, daily quizzes, LEQ, DBQ, SAQ, Stimulus-style mc questions, traveler IQ, etc.), practice essays, vocab, and the array of multiple choices. You have successfully made it through the course and I am proud of you all and of the hard work it took to get you here. It is now time to pay it forward and begin the final project to facilitate success and improvement for future WHAP’ers. My intentions are to build a collective “body of work” to help all of those interested in reviewing as early and often as possible for the World History AP test. Since you will be preparing for the regent’s examination as your final examination on June 15th at 7:35 in the morning, it is, also, important that you remain academically inert (some of you are even embarking on the SATII in World History). It has also been suggested that some of my lessons were incomplete or rushed through so you may choose a topic to cover it in greater depth. History is also something to be enjoyed and applied to the complex world that we live in. Its not series of amorphous dates and people so you must earnestly gain a greater understanding yourself and you interconnected things are as well as how you fit into this complex world you are still trying to figure out (so am I btw). So, gather up all of your materials (I hope you haven’t destroyed them) and begin thinking about which style of project would be the best suited for you. Look at 2017 LEQ,SAQ. And DBQ G:\pauldavis\Posting\2017 WHAP SAQ,DBQ and LEQ II.pptx

6 When-Where-Why-Synthesis
We will have Wed-Friday in the computer lab to research, compile and divide individual responsibilities. I have myriad resources which will be available on my web-site so you do not have to do substantial research (Mama bird still has your back) The due date is a strict D-Day but I will gladly accept work early. This will help keep you inert to maintain your Global memory, skill-set and retention and recall for your Final examination (you know, that Global regents on June 15th at 7:35 A.M). Also, it will help you for APUSH which is Friday May 18th 2018 (55MC/4SAQ/DBQ and LEQ). We will have regents review in the interim and some practice and real tests to provide feedback for me to determine who needs remediation, what you forgot or never truly learned in the first place. Regents are available on line (50 MC. DBQ with scaffolding, and thematic essay).
