In Australia 3.6 million people, or 19 percent of the population, have a disability
In addition, more than half of people aged 55 years and over have difficulties with mobility, sight and hearing

4. Why MAGIC was created
The MAGIC project commenced in late 2013 as a response to consultations with families of people with disability which identified challenges accessing services, businesses and the broader community

5. The aim of MAGIC
The MAGIC project aims to assist the business owner to understand how to improve access and inclusion. Small changes in a business can lead to significant economic, commercial and social benefits for the business and for the lives of people with disability

The MAGIC project is encouraging businesses across Macarthur to apply to become a place of MAGIC and through doing so commit to the MAGIC charter.
