(W 4 & 5) Cite textual evidence when writing a constructed response answer. (RL5.1) Acquire and use general academic and domain-specific words or phrases that signal precise actions, emotions, and states of being; demonstrate an understanding of nuances and jargon. (RL.10.6) RL Analyze how setting shapes the characters and/or plot and how particular elements of a narrative or drama interact; determine the impact of contextual influences on setting, plot, and characters.
