1
SOLAR & ELECTRIC ENERGY
2
advantages of solar energy
Solar energy is transformed into useful energy using solar panels. List of advantages for using solar power Solar power causes no type of harm to the environment. Solar cells make absolutely no noise at all. They do not make a single peep while extracting useful energy from the sun. On the other hand, the giant machines utilized for pumping oil are extremely noisy and therefore very impractical.
3
Disadvantages of solar energy
The Solar Cells and Solar Panels that are needed for solar energy sometimes are very expensive when you first buy them. Solar energy is is only available durng a sunny day and during stroms or cloudy days solar panels are useless
4
Solar power is exothermic
Solar power is exothermic because it is energy that is being released by the sun that’s why its warm because the bonds are broken So because solar energy is exothermic it can be used to our advantage with solar panels that use solar energy to power things such as house hold appliances etc.
5
Advantages of electric energy
Most electric cars can only go about 100–200 miles before recharging—gasoline vehicles can go over 300 miles before refueling. EVs emit no tailpipe pollutants, although the power plant producing the electricity may emit them. Electricity from nuclear-, hydro-, solar-, or wind-powered plants causes no air pollutants.
6
Disadvantages of electric energy
The Battery packs are heavy and take up a lot of vehicle space. Fully recharging the battery pack can take 4 to 8 hours. Even a "quick charge" to 80% capacity can take 30 min.
7
Electric energy is exothermic/endothermic
Electric energy at first is endothermic because the car battery has to charge and absorbs the energy until the car is used and then the electric energy is exothermic because the energy is being released. Electric energy is in no way harmful to the environment and emit’s no pollution into the air.
