1. Art Challenge: Chalk Art (to be posted on humnlit.wordpress.com)
Submit on or before Mar. 8, Tuesday
Either work individually or with a partner.
Create a chalk art on the black side of a 1/8 illustration board (portrait or landscape).
The work must be a combination of words (an inspirational/motivational statement either original or quoted from another person, or a novel/poem/short story/play, film, etc.) and drawings or illustrations.
You may take inspiration from sample artworks online but exact copying is greatly discouraged.
Cover the front part with plastic cover to prevent erasing of illustrations.
At the back of the board, write your names, respective course and year, Humn1 schedule, and date submitted.

8. Art Challenge: Soap Carving (to be posted on humnlit.wordpress.com)
Submit on or before Mar. 15, Tuesday
Individual work.
Materials: bar of soap (any brand and color), carving tool (knife, spoon, popsicle stick, etc.)
Choose any subject and carve it on a soap bar. Stick a strip of paper with your family name on the final product.
You may take inspiration from sample artworks online but exact copying is greatly discouraged.
