4 New Higher Diploma (nHD) Programmes
Key Features: Entry Requirement: Five HKDSE subjects at Level 2 or above, including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics; or VTC Diploma in Vocational Education / Foundation Diploma; or Equivalent One HKALE A-Level subject / Two AS-Level subjects at Grade E or above and Five HKCEE subjects at Grade E / Level 2 or above, including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics; or Equivalent All modules are pegged to Qualification Framework (QF) Levels

5 Introduction of New Higher Diploma (nHD) Programmes

Students are required to log in their attendance in the Class Attendance System (CAS) by using student ID card

7 Notes to Students Normal completion : 3 years (9 semesters)
Maximum registration period: 7 years Year 1 students are strongly recommended to register all required modules for progressing Students are required to choose their preferred modules for registration starting from Year 2 through Online Module Selection (OMS) in order to suit their individual pace of study and restudying failed modules.

12 Credit Transfer / Module Exemption
Formal academic achievements obtained that the module concerned is identical in terms of number of credits, intended learning outcomes, the QF level and assessment standards (e.g. same module code passed) Module Exemption Formal academic achievements and / or relevant experience with documented evidence of attainment of required learning outcomes. Assessment may be required. Not normally be allowed credit transfer and / or module exemption for more than 50% of total number of credits of the programme.

Who are eligible to apply? Newly enrolled in the programme (EG524701) Cannot apply for other form of government subsidy or financial assistance, e.g. Continuing Education Fund (CEF), Extended Non-means-tested Loan Scheme (ENLS), New Technology Training Scheme (NTTS), etc.
