Latest news: Our Year 2 children completed a homework topic about the Great Fire of London during their half term. Mrs spencer and Mrs Parsons were really pleased with the effort that the children made with this, as you can see below. Special mention certificates were awarded to: Reception – Carlie-Jai Yr 1 – Eleanor Yr 2 – Whole class Yr 3 – Rahouf Yr 4 – Billie and whole class Yr 5 – Temitope Yr 6 – Casey-Ann & Isabelle Poppies for sale: We will be selling poppies and a range of items, such as wristbands, friendship bracelets and reflectors, from Monday 6th to Friday 10th November, to raise funds for the Royal British Legion. Brand new dinner menu from Monday: Solihull Catering services have created a new autumn menu which looks very tempting as well as being nutritious and healthy. There are three choices on most days. Copies of the three week menu are attached to this letter- for you to keep at home. We will be enjoying the week 2 menu from Monday 6th November. If you would like your child to start having school dinners, please let the school office know. Sports Clubs – all children need to be collected: As it is getting darker earlier in the evening, all our children need to be collected from the Monday, Tuesday and Thursday sports clubs at 4.15pm until the lighter nights are here in the new year. Thank you. Nasal Flu Vaccine for YR, Y1, Y2, Y3 and Y4 children. This will take place on Tuesday 21st November. Consent forms were sent out on Monday 30th October. The bell goes at 8.55am. Children need to arrive at school between 8.45am and 8.55am, in order to undertake early morning work. Therefore we will continue to record poor punctuality. If children arrive after 8.55am, they will be recorded in the late book and their parents/carers will be asked to sign the late book and record the reason why.
