New for The earliest date for games to count towards the 20/10 or 14/10 for National Tournament bound teams is 15 August 2017 Non-sanctioned play is not permitted for USA Hockey registered teams. If you want to play a non- sanctioned team or in a non-sanctioned event, you must go as an independent team. Your USA Hockey approved roster is not valid nor is the USA Hockey insurance in effect. Consent to Treat forms are no longer required. The form has been removed from the Registry and the Credentials Verification form. Participant Code of Conduct is no longer required. Local associations are encouraged to get it, but it is not required for the National Tournament bound teams to put in their team books. Age Specific modules are required to be completed prior to a coach being added to the team roster. (31 December grace period is out.) SafeSport required before coach or manage can be added to the team roster. 12U players are not permitted on National Tournament bound teams.

Gentle Reminders Data Security – Remember you are responsible for protecting the data to which you have access. DO NOT permit anyone to use your ID and password to get into the Registry. Second users within the local associations are being severely curtailed. Easiest way to determine if the registration information being given to you is current: the fourth (4th) digit will always be an 8 The Claim Form for injuries is on the Registry. It is not to be posted on a local association website. Background screening and SafeSport certifications are good for two (2) seasons, not necessarily two years. If I ask you for a birth certificate and you know this person played with you last year, something changed in the way they registered from the previous year. If you have a player that requires a transfer from another country, the forms are in the Registry. Fill out the form and submit it to Colorado for approval, not me. I just forward those to Susan Peterson in Colorado and it is delayed in getting the process started. The Registrar’s office is open for business. Generally, detail hockey work will be done on Tuesday and Thursday. I will answer s and phone calls daily / Phone:
