*The tracking form and student documentation forms must be submitted to your grade level counselor by the last day of school. Community service hours completed over the summer will count toward the following school year.

Exams are offered late spring for approximately $94
College credit is determined by each college
Score Reporting - one free score report sent to the college designated on test answer document
AP Scoring: 5 = extremely well qualified 4 = well qualified 3 = qualified 2 = possibly qualified 1 = no recommendation
One AP exam may be funded by the district for first-time test takers

20. College level exam program (clep)
A computer-based credit by exam opportunity
Introductory college-level exams in select subject areas
A score of 50% or better on a CLEP exam correlates closely with college readiness; however, the required score for earning CLEP credit varies by exam  
Select CLEP exams are offered mid-December and mid-May at a cost of $85 each (upon teacher recommendation)
Exams are 90 minutes in length
Score Reporting - one free score report sent to the college designated during test registration
One CLEP test may be funded by the district for first-time test takers

Stands for Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test
The practice test for the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and the qualifying exam for the National Merit Scholarship
Registration began August 28 for Juniors
Costs $16 cash, check, or money order
Test booklets are limited
Administered on October 11

26. ASVAB Stands for Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery
Measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success
Designed to measure aptitudes in four domains: Verbal, Math, Science and Technical, and Spatial
Offered as part of the ASVAB Career Exploration Program which provides tools to help students learn more about career exploration and planning
Administered to all juniors on September 14 free of charge

College Readiness presentation
Fair – Representatives from local, state, & out-of-state colleges and universities, military recruiters, college/career planning organizations, and test prep organizations will be on site

Topics will include: what to expect on the ACT, test taking tips/strategies, and much more
Score reports from the November ACT Practice Test will be distributed and discussed
Local test prep organizations will be on-site
