Mark 4:26-29 (NIV) 26 He also said, “This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground. 27 Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how.

Mark 4:26-29 (NIV) 28 All by itself the soil produces grain—first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head. 29 As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come.”

I. The Transmitting takes place when an individual does what they KNOW to do.
A farmer scatters seed This action is like second nature This is how we as believers exercise our giftedness

II. The growth that is transmitting is INEXPLICABLE
This verse in its original language contains the word “automation” God gives the increase Growth takes place – if we have eyes and ears

III. The Good News shifts through MATURING disciples.
A consistently studying believer who puts faith in action makes a difference Notice the Farmer (v29)

The Farmer: Expects a harvest Is ready to work in the harvest
Has made preparation for the harvest He sleeps at night to be strong for the harvest time.
