2. Ideation
As I explored ideas for spoons, I became aware that I wanted to create a spoon for recreational purposes such as campers. Two ideas for spoons were self-cleaning spoons, as well as spoons with a fork function, as these two pieces of cutlery are most used when camping. The idea for the spoon with fork function, was not to create a spork, but rather a fully developed spoon with a small fork add-on.

Above, is a sketch of an Idea where a fork rests underneath the spoon, and can be pushed out via switch on the handle.

To the left is a sketch of a spoon with small slits to also give a fork function. The slits are large enough to let small amounts of fluids through, but small enough to stop soft foods from sliding through, making this an ideal design for rice and
Oatmeal dishes.
To the right is a spoon with a nano-coating that makes excess food drip off, making it easy to use in multiple scenarios and easy to clean

7. User Tests: Questionnaire
To the Left is an image of the questionnaire that I used for my product. The questionnaire, was designed for experienced campers, however, since I was not able to find people with camping experience, I asked my flat mates to fill out the form.

12. User Test Feedback, Refinement, and Final Design
For my final design, I decided to go for a spoon, with small fork like points at the end of the spoon. This allows the user to use the spoon to its fullest extent without some limitations of a spork. However, when a fork function is needed, the fork like points let the user pick up items like a fork.
