2 INTRODUCTION The main intention of this project is to find the accident spot at any place and intimating it to ambulance through the GPS &GSM network The project contains MEMS,GSM module and GPS modem interfaced to the PIC microcontroller Global system for mobile (GSM) technology is used to establish cellular connection GPS is used to trace the position of the vehicle

3 PREVIOUS SYSTEM When an Accident occurs the information only send through GSM but there is no possibility to locate the sport……………

4 PROPOSED SYSTEM This project present an automotive localization system using GPS and GSM-SMS Services……...

5 CAUSES OF ACCIDENT The population of our country has been increasing rapidly which indirectly has increased the vehicle density and lead to many road accidents. The main causes of accidents include drunk driving, use of mobile phones, faster speed . A lot of accident are happening now-a- day because of increased vehicle density violating rules and care lessees.

6 WHY THIS PROJECT? Security in travel is primary concern for every one.
Accident spot can be detected SMS can be received from the spot.

GPS System 27 Satellites Orbit the Earth twice clock Equipped with an automatic clock GPS Receiver 3-D Trilateration GPS Receivers located 4 satellites above it by timing a signal journey from satellite to receiver

10 GSM A GSM modem is a wireless modem that work with a GSM wireless network A wireless modem behaves like a dial up modem The main Difference between then is that a dial up modem sends and receivers data through a fixed telephone line while a wireless modem sends and receivers data through radio waves. The GSM module using consist of mobile station and SIM The Commands that are using to provide communication are AT commands The AT commands specifies the GSM technology and are related to SMS services.

13 WORKING ………….. When ever any accident occurs MEMS sensor detects and send mechanical force to at ADC by ARM using GPS we will get particular location where accident occurs then GSM send message authorised members ,100 & 108. One more best feature is when ever any authorised people gives missed call to GSM at accident location then it send message of the accident location. ‘ The GPS positioning is done in the form of latitude and longitude along with the exact location of the place by making Google Maps

16 OBJECTIVES To reduce Human death ratio.
To intimate the condition of the victim who met the accident. After accident Fast indication by SMS. If the person took alcohol who is driving then vehicle will be stopped immediately by giving alarm…………..

18 ADVENTAGE The immediate medication will be provided to the accident victims in remote areas. Mobile number can be changed at any time. In case if we are drunk, our family members will drive us safely in that case. Also unauthorized access car and rash driving is not driving is not possible. The system is not police dependent. Monitor All hazards and threat

19 DISADVANTAGES In some places where there is no provision of GSM network it is difficult for communication. This sensor is a partial pressure sensitive and therefore may change sensitivity with change in altitude and elevation.

20 FUTURE SCOPE This system can be interfaced with vehicle airbag system that prevent vehicle occupants from striking interior object such as the steering wheel or window. This can also be developed by interconnecting a camera to the controller module that take place the photograph of the accident spot that makes the tracking easier. We can use our kit for detection of bomb by connecting to the bomb detector.

Security and remote monitoring. Pilgrims tracking. Automotive and transport vehicles This System also can be interfaced with vehicle airbag system.

22 CONNCLUSION: To minimize the deaths and the severe condition due to accidents the GPS and GSM technologies are used where immediate action would take place by the ambulance /police services which might reduce the severity.
