Areas for Improvements
Week 1 Strengths Areas for Improvements Tuesday 8th May On the first day I was able to learn all the staff names and my way around the building. Assist gymnastics class. Set up speakers for dance class. I could have been more involved and blended in with other staff if there were more jobs for me to take care of. Wednesday 9th May Became more comfortable. Able to sort money out. Gained knowledge of what to do when on reception. Become more clear of how the system works when people pay for classes.

Areas for Improvements
Week 1 (Continued) Strengths Areas for Improvements Thursday 10th May Setting up hall and putting equipment away. Assist gymnastics class and help with Multi Skills class. I could have involved myself more with the multi skills class. Friday 11th May Knew what to do in the hall where cleaning and where all the equipment needed to go. Helped with the football class which is my strongest sport. I could have got myself involved with actually teaching the kids some football drills instead of just helping and assisting the coach.

Week 2 Strengths Areas for Improvements Monday 14th May Was a lot more comfortable during the second week of work experience. Assist gymnastics class. Able to deliver documents safely to other YMCA building site. Did not know the Monday routine as my first day started on a Tuesday so needed to learn how this day was planned out compared to other days. Tuesday 15th May Was able to set up equipment for classes in the morning and then pack away and also look after toddlers/children. Assisted gymnastics class successfully. Not to be afraid to ask fellow workers questions on where things are or where things should go.

Areas for Improvements
Week 2 (Continued) Strengths Areas for Improvements Wednesday 16th May Had walked to the Fitness Centre to completed jobs I was asked to do such as laminating paper and help with fun run event. There were moments where I had helped on reception but my knowledge of the system wasn’t as good as it could have been. Thursday 17th May Helped again with multi skills where I was more comfortable and knew how the session was planned and what types of exercises were included. I could have involved myself a little more with the children by taking a particular activity and not just assist the coach. Friday 18th May Helped with picking up equipment from schools and Fitness Centre for fun run event. Call other staff to check for any problems or jobs.
