3. Creating Reservations
Prepaid reservations
System will automatically charge 75 percent base rate for prepaid reserves.
60-days-in-advance
System will automatically charge 85 percent base rate for prepaid reserves.
System will send automatic 45 days before beginning of stay reminding customers to pay within next 15 days

4. Creating Reservations Cont.
Conventional reservations
Most basic reserve
Incentive reserves
When reserve is made the system will check the average number of reservations for the nights of the new reservations
If average number of reserves is 60 percent or less of occupancy then reduce rate by 20 percent.

5. Requirements for Reserves
Managers need to decide base rate for a day at least one year in advance.
Store the base rates for each day in a database
System must create a backup for all reserve information every day.

6. Creation and Printing of Reports
Managerial Reports
System will create needed managerial reports everyday from information in database.
System does not automatically print reports. Print outs must be initiated by management.
Operational Reports
Must be initiated by an employee.
Accommodation Bills
System automatically prints the morning a guest is scheduled to leave.

7. Users Ophelia’s Oasis Managers and Staff
