1. I’m Mrs. Roberts
Teaching 5th grade is an absolute passion of mine! I’m so excited to work with you and your parents. It’s going to be a year full of fun, love, hard work, and of course a lot of learning. I thought you might want to know a little bit about me.
I am married to my wonderful husband, Jake. We have a son, Dexter, who is in kindergarten and a daughter, Stella, who is 3. They take up most of my free time, but some hobbies I do enjoy are crafting, watching movies, and reading. I went to MWSU and ASU for my teaching degrees. I’ve been working at Hyde Elementary for 9 years now. It’s a wonderful community for learning academics and citizenship.
I hope you had a fabulous summer, and I can’t wait to hear all about it. I am eager to meet you at Open House on Tuesday, August 9th from 5:00-6:30. You can bring your school supplies that night, check out your classroom, meet me, pick up important paper work, and see what friends you’ll be getting to know this school year. I am looking forward to meeting you and your parents. Welcome to 5th grade!
