Romans 8: 1-15 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. 3 For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, 4 in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. 6 For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. 7 For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God's law; indeed, it cannot. 8 Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

9 You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him. 10 But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.

12 So then, brothers, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. 13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. 14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. 15 For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”

It’s As Easy As… Being Led by the Spirit

Gifts of God: Romans 6:22-23 (ESV) But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Luke 11:13 (ESV) If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

Ephesians 4:7-8 (NLT) However, he has given each one of us a special gift through the generosity of Christ. 8 That is why the Scriptures say, “When he ascended to the heights, he led a crowd of captives and gave gifts to his people.”

Romans 10:14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?

Acts 1:8 (NLT) But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere--in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

1 Corinthians 3:7 (NLT) It's not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What's important is that God makes the seed grow.

Romans 8:14 (ESV) For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. Romans 8:14 (AMP) For all who are allowing themselves to be led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.

Greek for led: ἄγω [ago /ag·o/] verb
to lead, take with one. to lead by laying hold of, and this way to bring to the point of destination to lead by accompanying to (into) a place. to lead, guide, direct. to lead through, conduct to: to something. to move, impel: of forces and influences on the mind (the mind of our spirit).

The Holy Spirit leads us primarily by the inner witness.
A check in your spirit, a red light A good feeling in your spirit, a green light A name comes to mind An inward intuition A prompting to do something

The promptings of the Holy Spirit will always align with the Bible.
Read the Bible Spend time in prayer, listening for God Step out in faith Walk in love

Be willing to: Get out of the comfort zone
Listen for: The Spirit’s prompting Just: Walk!

This is what evangelism is: Seizing opportunities to have an eternal impact in someone’s life —opportunities that originate with a simple walk across the room. Opportunities that are prompted by the Holy Spirit.
