Pollen carried by wind to female cones
Female cones have seeds on it
Pollination – transfer of pollen from male to female reproductive structures

Can have male and female parts in the same flower
Petals attract pollinators (ex: bees, hummingbirds)
Pollen carried by animals or wind
Ovaries develop into a fruit to protect seeds

8. Plant Tissues Roots – anchor the plant and absorbs water and nutrients
Stems – transport system (xylem and phloem) and protection
Leaves – photosynthesis and lets carbon dioxide in/out (stomata)
