Weekly Objectives March 6-10th
The student will: Utilize for skills in Internet Resources and Creditability for research skills in Word Processing documents. Mon. Utilize basic word processing skills to create business correspondence. correspondence (i.e., memo, letter, letterhead or a multi-page report. Mon-Tues Apply word processing applications to related academic skills in language Wed Generate a hard copy of business arts/communications. Explain and perform desktop publishing--graphic applications. Thurs. Perform skills in word processing applications with 80% accuracy. Fri.

Mon. Daily Agenda Pre Bell Activity- Complete 3 Mins. Time writing —2 times on Edu Typing Total: 6 Mins. Choose One: Differentiation Pre Bell Activity 3 Minute >Netiquette 3 Minute > White Water Rafting Students will work on I-Ready – Reading Lessons –Mon-Wed Minutes each day. The teacher will introduce lesson on Word Processing Review –Creating Business Documents –Memos, Bus. Letters/Letterhead and give the purpose of this lesson. Teacher will review the Frayer Model on Vocabulary Strategy on vocabulary words on Word Processing. Students in pairs will be given a key word to complete Frayer Diagram and share with the class. Introduce and explain to students skills on Internet Resources as it relates to Business Documents. Students will complete skills lesson on on Internet Resources and Credibility—Whole Group If time permits, begin Memos and Business Letters Handouts. Wrap up with a review

Tuesday Daily Agenda— Pre-Bell-Choose One Netiquette— or White Water Rafting--Remedial -3-Mins. Timewriting—2 Times each Begin 10 Minutes Lesson on I-Ready Reading today after Timewriting The teacher will introduce lesson on Word Processing –Creating Business Documents –Bus. Letters/Memos/Letterhead and give the purpose of this lesson. Some classes will continue with Monday classwork review on Typing Memos and Language Arts Integration Activities.- Whole Group Activity The students will continue Reinforcement Lessons in Edu Typing. Independent Activities—Differentiated Instructions and continue lessons for Remedial Students/Accommodation. The Advance Students will continue their Edu Typing Practice Library Lesson and begin Unit 2 Numeric Lesson Enrichment Activity for Advance Students: Additional Assignment in text on page 79-typing business documents The student will create a Letterhead and business letter. (See Handout) Advance students classes Wrap up with a review of today’s lesson. See Exit Question in Canvas

Independent Activities—Differentiated Instructions and continue lessons for Remedial Students/Special Education-Accommodation. The Advance Students will continue their Edu Typing on Unit 2 Numeric This is Differentiated Instruction Activity. Timewriting—2 Times each—TOTAL 6 MINS Begin 10 Minutes Lesson on I-Ready Math today after Timewriting CLASSES WILL DO THE FOLLOWING CLASSWORK TODAY: FINISH on 4th lesson Internet Resources. It will be Graded. Some students have not completed this activity. Students will google sample flyers- lost pet to get ideas. Students will create a Lost Pet Flyer –See Sample Handout for instructions from teacher. Save To Your M Drive Students will get handout from teacher and begin typing memos and business letters. See front and back page of first sheet. Students will save all documents to their M Drive and we will print your Lost Pet Flyer and other documents on Friday .

Post the activity—Enrichment Students The students will continue Practice Library Lessons in Edu Typing. Independent Activities—Differentiated Instructions and continue lessons for Remedial Students/Special Education-Accommodation. The Advance Students will continue their Edu Typing on Unit 2 Numeric Lesson. This is Differentiated Instruction Activity Wrap up with a review.
