Go to skype.com and download Skype for Windows Desktop to put Skype onto your home computer. Run the Program.

No-one can see your and only contacts can see your mobile phone number.
Your Skype name is also your Username:
No spaces and all small letters.
Your Skype password:
At least 6 characters, at least one letter and one number.

You will now have the Skype icon on your desktop. Click it twice to sign in using your Skype name and password.
