-Start as epiphytes and send roots down to ground. They grow quickly and cover the host tree and cause dealth of the host tree.

- Different layers of plants
- Buttress roots to support emergent layer
- Broad leaves in lower layers to absorb more sunlight
- Rich density of plant species( eg. Emergent trees,epiphytes)

9. The most impressive vegetation in SFCC
Reason : This tree is strong and tall with a high big crown. As Hong Kong has a hot and wet climate, the summer is so hot. The high big crown of the tree can block the sunlight effectively and hence we can rest and relax under this tree in summer.
