Rainbow food diary Try to keep a food diary for 1 week. Assign all of the food and drinks you have into the 5 food groups you’ve learnt about. Think about: Are you surprised by any of the groups? Do you think any of the foods could belong in more than one food group? How do you think cooking food might affect which food group to place it in? For example, do you think boiled potatoes and crisps should be in the same group? Which group(s) contain your favourite foods? Which group(s) contain your least favourite foods?
