2. This session will give primary and elementary teachers different ideas for writing and organizing anecdotal notes.

3. Anecdotal notes are used when observing students’ work, skills, and behavior. These provide information on student learning and direction for further instruction, along with important data to use at RTI meeting and parent conferences.

I use 2 X 4 avery
Shipping labels. I use
Sheets of labels each
Week for my
Anecdotal notes.
I keep anecdotal notes
on each child weekly for
each subject.

6. Once I have completed my Next Step Guided Reading Assessments and STAR testing, I will be able to identify students who need extra interventions. (Tier 2 and Tier 3)
