Promote the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the Federal government through exceptional accounting, financing, collections, payments, and shared services. Our Vision We Will… Transform financial management and the delivery of shared services in the Federal government.

4 Fiscal Service Portfolio
Financing Awarded $8.0 trillion in Treasury marketable securities and conducted 269 auctions to fund critical government operations and activities. Payments Securely disbursed 1.2 billion payments totaling more than $3.3 trillion, 100% on time, with 95% disbursed electronically. Centrally disburse 85% of all federal payments, including IRS tax refunds, SSA and Supplemental Security (SSI) benefits, OPM retirement benefits, Veteran’s benefits, and vendor payments. Collections Collected $3.96 trillion in federal revenue, 98.2% settled electronically. Shared Services Governmentwide Accounting and Reporting Provided administrative and information services to 80 federal agencies , including more than 1,000 contract awards and 98,000 travel vouchers. Accounted for the $19.8 trillion in public debt; serviced $5.6 trillion in Treasury securities invested by 79 agencies in 247 accounts Public Key Infrastructure Delivered two-factor authentication abilities to more than 50% of civilian government employees, including Homeland Security, SSA, VA, and NASA Debt Management Collected $7.41 billion in delinquent debt *Figures for FY 2016
