Ryan O'Charchin

Analysis of the song In the song Super Rich kids by Frank Ocean, he is pointing out most issues with spoiled children. Frank is trying to send the message that these kids get babied when they're an adult because they weren't taught how to function without their daddy being around, and how nothing in life will satisfy them.Their parents wouldn't be around much so they would act strange and have very little social skills. Then later Earl comes in and explains that they get into drugs such as xanax, how they crashed their Cadillac and how they get mad and take their parents cars.

5 questions Why does Frank keep repeating how he's "searching for a real love?" What does "we are nothing but loose ends" mean? Do you think Frank is trying to describe one racial group? If so which? What does the phrase "my silver spoon has fed me good" mean? Why does the character in the song "start his day up on the roof?

Answers 1. Even though he has loads of money, he still wants love from someone from family or friends. 2. They have a lot of loose money to spend but they can't get happiness or love from it. 3. Yes, I feel like he's describing Caucasians 4. Silver spoon is commonly described as wealth, or when his parents are gone he's using the silver spoon to do other drugs such as heroin or crack, a few lines after it says "close my eyes and feel the crash" 5. He starts his day on the roof because he lives in a penthouse which is at the top of a condo or apartment building and is the most expensive because the view is one of a kind. The characters life started metaphorically on top and literally on top.
