Title 1A The grant provides supplemental support for students to master state content standards (TEKS) and meet state performance standards (STAAR, EOC), and early reading instruments, i.e. TPRI/TEJAS LEE.

Title IA Programs For a school-wide program, all students with educational needs are served, as long as 40% or more of students are low socio-economic. For a targeted assistance program, only identified at-risk students are eligible to receive services.

Intent and Purpose of Title IC MEP
To ensure that migrant children fully benefit from the same free public education provided to all other children.

MEP Allocations Allocation based on number of migrant students:
Funding is based on the previous school year (15-16). The15-16 EISD ended the school year with 6 migrant students. Currently, EISD has 2 migrant students.

Intent and Purpose of Title IIA
Provide funds to increase student achievement, by improving teacher and principal quality through professional development. Funding is based on our student socio-economic percentage.

Intent and Purpose of Title III
Ensures that students who are English Language Learners become proficient in English, as well as meeting the same academic standards as all students are expected to master.

Title IIIA Funding Funds are generated by the number of EISD students identified as English Language Learners, whose parents have agreed to services. Title III funds are supplemental to all other funds – federal, state and local – 1,580 ELL students – 1,770 ELL students 12% increase

Purpose is to assist all students in acquiring academic, technical and employment skills, to succeed in post-secondary education and in-demand career training.
