a database of research funding opportunities, pre- filtered for accessibility to Australian-based applicants, provided FREE of charge to anyone with an address

4. Accessing the site To login: Go to www.researchprofessional.com
Enter -
Username: [your UTS address – should be lower-case]
Password: UTS123 [please change this next time you login]
Remember: RP is case sensitive!

5. Searching for funding
Simple search Keyword/s in free text (Google-style) – RP suggests search terms that match yours as you type (disciplines, funders, award types, free text) Advanced search? Criteria in combination – lets you build complex searches and fine-tune your results e.g. Discipline + Type of award + Closing date + Award amount + Category….

6. Saving a search/bookmarking
Click on the ‘Save’ button to save any search that gives you useful results Click on the ‘Bookmark’ button to save specific opportunities Your personal saved searches and bookmarks appear on the RHS
