2 Very Long Shot (vls) Very Long shots capture the entire subject and their surroundings whilst providing context to the scene in which a vls is featured

4 Medium long shot (MLS) Medium long shots are generally used for showing the subject with his immediate surroundings. This can also be used when there is one or two more subjects.

6 Long Shot (LS) A long shot is often used to show the full subject and to make the subject the focus point of the image and favours action over emotion.

8 Medium Shot (ms) Medium shot is used to direct viewers to the subject of the shot. This shot is also known as the waist shot.
