3 Project Description Video lobby surveillance system infrastructure in place. Visitor pushes button; signal is sensed, amplified, and routed to PLD controller. PLD sends out timed control signal to activate selector relays. Selector relays select the specific cable to send video image from camera, by interrupting regular surveillance feed and diverting image to selected apartment via cable system. RF modulator attaches video signal to carrier frequency, set to display on Channel 3. Signal with image of visitor travels to specific TV in apartment. Alert system/icon appears on all channels while viewer is watching.
