BOARD STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
Create organized and regulated environment for professional boxing Design an appropriate structural arrangement for boxing (governance) Improve quality of tournaments Enhance the popularity of boxing in South Africa Develop high performance boxers and ring officials for the international stage Create an enabling environment for the increased welfare of licencees Provide for a seamless transition of boxers from SANABO

The three-fight rule has been removed Reduced licencing fees implemented Rotation of ring officials introduced Baby Champs project Launched Port Elizabeth regional office established

Boxing Managers course by University of Pretoria (6) Corporate Governance course Board Members and staff Staff training admin and computer skills Licencees training biokinetics, tax matters, ring mechanics (240) Broadcasters workshop on rules and regulations

Boxers three professional fights or less Eleven tournaments staged in all provinces Partially sponsored by SABC Babychamps becoming ranked boxers and champoins
