Let’s begin by defining Reiki
A Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes healing Spiritually guided life force energy A complementary therapy A means for positive life changes Perfectly fits in with traditional medicine A form of meditation A way to induce the relaxation response

A little Reiki history Dr. Mikao Usui who developed Reiki in 1922 in Japan

Dr. Chujiro Hayashi Used Reiki in his medical Clinic after being attuned to Reiki

INTRODUCED REIKI TO THE U.S. VIA HAWAII
Mrs. Hawayo Takata ( 1938 ) RECEIVED MASTER LEVEL FROM HAYASHI ( 1976 ) TAKATA BEGINS INITIATING STUDENTS TO MASTER LEVEL ( 1980 ) TAKATA PASSES AWAY INTRODUCED REIKI TO THE U.S. VIA HAWAII

We must reduce our levels of stress Because complementary therapies are quickly becoming part of integrative medicine Because in today’s world we need physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual support to deal with issues Because it works !!!!

Is there any evidence Reiki works?
