1 Mrs. McCormick, Dragon Faerie

2 What is a dragon faerie? A dragon faerie is an ancient mythological creature. They are found primarily in Celtic cultures, like Scotland. They live for a very long time, usually around 1,000 years. They are elusive, and hard to find. The faerie part loves to have fun. The dragon part can be very fierce. The dragon faerie can switch between both parts in the blink of an eye. Yes, we can fly, no you won’t usually see us when we do. We do have magic, but it’s not a big thing for us.

3 1050 It was the summer of 1050 in the piedmont of what is now South Carolina that I was born. I was born with smooth, creamy white skin, jet black hair, and violet eyes. I was very strong when I was born, holding my head up. I was walking and talking at 6 months. I’m the oldest in my family. I have two brothers, one lives in North Carolina. The other was taken in a traffic accident 17 years ago.

4 Lived and visited I’ve lived in South Carolina, Ohio, Michigan, New York State, and Arizona. I’ve lived in Arizona for the last 35 years. I’ve been to Canada and Mexico. I’ve visited Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Missouri, Mississippi, Indiana, Iowa, Nebraska, Texas, New Mexico, California, Nevada, Idaho, Wisconsin, Illinois, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, and Tennessee.

5 Family I have a husband and 5 children.
My husband is a wood elf. My children are a blend. There are 4 boys and 1 girl. The oldest is 25, the youngest is 10. My parents live in Yuma.

11 Future I want to learn how to play the guitar and how to play a drum set. I’m working on writing a Dragon Faerie book. I think I’d like to get a doctorate degree. Maybe I’ll get a high school math certificate.
