ABOUT KIDSBRIDGE Kidsbridge provides programs that create measurable improvements in life skills and character education. The museum features hands-on activities, games, and programs that help the children deal with racism and other global issues such as the atrocities happening in Darfur.

ABOUT KIDSBRIDGE In January 2006, Kidsbridge finalized the creation of a Tolerance Museum, also known as, the learning lab on campus at The College of New Jersey. The Tolerance Museum features “Face to Face: Dealing with Prejudice and Discrimination,” an exhibit created by the Chicago Children's Museum that focuses on diversity appreciation and tolerance.

MY EXPERIENCE I worked with children of different ages from a variety of schools and was stationed at a different section of the museum each week, where I talked to the children about such areas as racism, sexism, people with disabilities, and what is happening in Darfur. The different sections of the museum provide activities, such as puppet shows, that are meant to give the kids a better understanding of the world we live in.
