Glance at the Month Ahead
In Reading Workshop, we will be finishing up our character study & realistic fiction unit.
In Writing Workshop, we will be publishing our personal narratives, & moving onto Information Writing/Research!
In Math, we will be beginning Chapter 3 of Go Math – Adding & Subtracting Decimals.
In Science, we will be focusing on the study of the human body.
In Social Studies, we will be beginning our study on the first colonies.
We will be beginning our 40 Book Challenge for the school year. Please encourage your child to read for at least 30 minutes each evening.
Reading responses will be due each Friday. Also, it is very important
that your child does his/her homework every night.
