Spelling Spelling will continue to be a focus.
Children will be developing their phonics and spelling knowledge daily in class, linked to letter patterns and common rules. This will be followed up at home and we ask for your support in this.

Homework Mathletics – 1 hour per week Reading – 20 minutes 5x a week
Spelling – weekly list Learning logs – fortnightly Children need to bring their reading books and records daily

Attendance and Punctuality
Doors open at 8.50am. School starts at 9.00am and the registers close at this time. Children arriving in the classroom after 9.00am will be marked as late. School attendance : 96.9% National ( ): 96.1% Attendance dropping below 90% results in school contacting parents with improvements expected.

Uniform Please ensure that children are following the school uniform code as set out in the letter sent out before the summer holidays, which can also be viewed on the website.

Payments to be made through Agora Local trips will take place throughout the year Any parents with DBS checks are always welcome to support trips

Year 6 Parents Evening 4 way meeting
Parents – teacher –head teacher – pupil Pupil teacher meetings will continue throughout the year to assess progress and set individual targets
