2 Volume Like area, it’s the space enclosed by the shape or form.
We measure area in square units, volume is measured in cubic units.

3 Volume of a Cube Like Area, we multiply length times width, but then multiply by the depth for the 3rd dimension. V=s3 A rectangular prism has a volume of length times width times depth as well. V=lwd

4 Pyramids As you noticed, a triangle is half the area of a rectangle. Similarly pyramids are 1/3 the volume of rectangles. V=1/3Ah where A is the area of the base.

5 Spheres and Cylinders The volume of a sphere is defined as 4/3πr3
A cylinder has the volume of its base times its height. V= πr2h
