2 LCA European Databases in construction
LCA is the "Compilation and evaluation of inputs, outputs and the potential of a system of product environmental impacts through their life cycle". Inventory databases (compilation of inputs and outputs to the system of study. They are generally incorporated in the information and applications can be edited by the user, e.g.: Ecoinvent Gabi, ELCD). EPD databases (LCA results offer following the UNE-EN 15804: A1: 2014 [3] and the corresponding CPR for the outcome of environmental product declarations, e.g.: DAPc, Global EPD, IBU) . Other environmental databases (collect relevant information, but cannot be used to calculate the LCA, e.g.: BEDEC Bank, Inventory of Carbon and Energy (ICE), Database of the Agency for Sustainable Construction). Databases Different sources: Generic data (inventory) vs. Generic or particular data (EPD databases) Different data format, boundaries, simplifications, quality of data and traceability.

3 European environmental databases
International open data network for construction product: InData InData goal is the initiation of a European LCA data network structure for construction products based on EPD information. Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Norway, United Kingdom and Spain. Common information in databases and Type of data. E. g. generic, product specific, producer, association, representative values and classifications. Background databases (e. g. GaBi, ecoinvent) and other sources of information (producers), hypothesis, procedures and description of scenarios. Data quality. Quantitative assessment of level of uncertainty of the data. Standardization schemes: EPD EN [3], ISO [9], ELCD/ILCD and PEF. Lifecycle stages, rules about what is beyond A1-A3, A-4, and how to include A- 5, B and C. Software database platforms and technology. Interfaces (e.g. API, xml) and compatibility with subsequent tools (e. g. LCA-Tools, BIM; EnEV…). ILCD format. ELCD_European Life Cycle Databases

4 OpenDAP. Spanish Database in construction
-Types of DB (Building, Railway Construction and Road Construction) - Filter search -Types of material (products, machinery, energy and transport ) WHAT IS OPEN DAP ? Database of environmental information of construction products, so much generic as specifics, for his consultation across Internet and to be used by tools of evaluation by means of the methodology of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). WHAT KIND OF INFORMATION DO YOU HAVE? a) Specific data b) Generic data c) Estimated Reference Value PROFILE DATABASE? Opened, public character and of free use. It possesses the support of the OECC as official database of reference to the calculation of the carbon footprint. ACCESS? Supported by:
