Edinburgh College - Campus Open Days
Interested in starting a course at Edinburgh College in 2018? Campus open days are a great opportunity to speak to teaching staff about the courses on offer, entry requirements, application hints and tips and finding the right course for you. Staff will be on hand to give you guidance on funding, fees and student support during your time at college. You will also be invited to take a tour of the campus, including classrooms, workshops, libraries and social areas, giving you an idea of what it’s really like to be a student at Edinburgh College. Edinburgh College of Art (ECA) S5/6
Edinburgh College of Art (ECA) are offering a programme of subject-based masterclasses for 5th and 6th year school students, introducing them to the variety of subjects studied at the College, ranging across the five Schools, Art, Design, Music, ESALA (Architecture and Landscape Architecture), and History of Art. The workshops are developed and delivered by leading academic staff and will allow insights into student life and study experience, as well as guidance about the wealth of career opportunities on offer in art institutions and special collections. The sessions emphasise hands-on experience and students will have the opportunity to discuss and get advice on their own works and/or portfolios, and to handle original works. SRUC - Scotland’s Rural College
SRUC has six campuses which offer courses in a range of land based industries including Horse Management, Vet Nursing and Agriculture:- Aberdeen, Ayr, Barony (Dumfries), Edinburgh, Elmwood (Cupar, Fife), Oatridge (near Broxburn, West Lothian). Applications for Higher National Certificate (HNC) and Higher National Diploma (HND) courses, as well as degree courses, at all six SRUC campuses are made through UCAS. UCAS applications must be submitted to your Guidance Teacher by the end of November.
