3 My Story… I started out in the mortgage business
I’ve owned 1 mortgage brokerage and 3 real estate brokerages in the past 15 years When I started Mountain View, I got terrible service from everyone I realized that Listing/Selling real estate is not actually my core business I scrapped the plan and made everything about customer experience I’ve spoken with over 100 buyers to learn what mattered most to them about buying a home And now, I really want to learn what matters most to you…

For families with children, there are few things more important about where to buy then the local schools. If schools are important to you, there is a ‘Schools’ link on our website under ‘Sales Search’. It leads to a website called Great Schools that ranks local schools, allows you to search by name and location, and see how they compare to each other. Of course, we are not affiliated with Great Schools, but many of our clients have told us that they have found the site extremely helpful.

When moving to a new area, you might want to know how you will fit into your new community. Using our City Details link, that leads to Moving.com’s powerful City Profiles search, you will get deep insights about the cities and towns where you are considering moving. Everything from age groups and income, to education and climate. Heck, it even gives you the average commute time to work. Of course, we are not affiliated with Moving.com, we have just found that their search tool is easy to use, provides great insights and is free for our visitors.

We are in a SELLER’S Market Right now, there are more buyers than there are homes. Typically, a market with six months of inventory is considered to be healthy. In Metro-Atlanta, inventories have shrunk to only 1 or 2 months… …in some areas, as low as 2 weeks! What this means to you: With fewer options, buyers have become more aggressive, they’re making stronger offers and they’re more competition minded.

15 The MLS… The FMLS can be seen by over 36,000 agents in the Metro Atlanta area. It gives agents 24 hour access to up to date property information for listings in 21 counties.

16 Your Personal MLS… One of the things we have noticed about our clients over the years is that they want full access. They want to see everything on the market, from home, and they don’t want a gate keeper. That’s why those mega property search sites exist in the first place.

17 Your Personal MLS… The biggest difference between your private access to the MLS through our site and the big guys is the up to date, accurate information that you have access to. Some of those sites take up to 60 days to update their syndication feeds. We update ours nightly. So what you get is a main line back door right into our MLS, just as if you were a real estate agent yourself.

18 Reaching Out to Local Agents/Owners…
At any given time, there are between 2,000 and 3,500 active listings per county on the MLS. There are another that are about to be listed on the MLS and that are listed by owner. One of the first things we do after you and I decide to work together is identify all the agents with pocket listings and the individual owners with homes for sale that fit your criteria. Then we reach out to them and let them know personally that you’re looking.
